The short version

  • Every studio starts with a 3-day free trial of Pro. No card needed, and the 3 days start at your first login.
  • Then Pro is billed monthly or yearly. Monthly plans cancel any time; yearly plans run to the end of the year paid for.
  • Your data is yours. Export it any time, including for 30 days after you stop.
  • Clients pay you through your own Stripe, Razorpay or PayPal account. ClickBook never takes a cut.

01About these terms

These terms are an agreement between ClickBook, operated from India (“ClickBook”, “we”, “us”), and you, the studio or person who uses ClickBook (“you”). They cover clickbook.si, the ClickBook web app and the services we provide with it. By starting a trial, creating an account or using ClickBook, you agree to them. If you accept them for a business, you confirm you’re allowed to, and “you” means that business.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and is part of these terms. A Custom plan may also come with its own order form or agreement; where it differs from these terms, it wins for that plan.

02The service

ClickBook is a web app for photographers and their teams: leads, proposals, contracts, invoices and payment plans, projects, crew, the edit queue, social posts and finance, in one place. It works in current desktop and mobile browsers, and you can add it to your phone’s home screen. There are no app-store apps.

We improve ClickBook all the time, so features change. If we remove a major feature you rely on, we’ll tell you in advance. The live demo at clickbook.si/demo uses made-up sample data and is for exploring only.

03Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract.
  • Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your login details safe, and don’t share a seat between people. You’re responsible for what happens under your account, including what team members and freelancers you invite do.
  • The account owner controls the studio’s account: seats, permissions, billing and data.
  • Tell us straight away at info@clickbook.si if you think someone has used your account without permission.

04The free trial

Every studio can try ClickBook Pro free for 3 days, with all features, 5 seats and 5 GB of storage. No card is needed. The 3 days start when you first log in, and there’s one trial per studio.

At the end of the trial, pick a yearly or monthly plan to keep going. If you don’t, nothing is deleted straight away: your account stays read-only for 30 days so you can export your data or come back, and is then deleted. We may refuse or end a trial that’s being misused.

05Plans and billing

  • Pro is billed monthly or yearly, in advance. Prices, seats, storage and add-ons are as shown on our pricing page when you subscribe.
  • Monthly Pro has a one-time guided setup fee, shown on the pricing page. Guided setup is free with yearly Pro.
  • Your plan renews for the same period until you cancel. Extra seats and storage are billed with your plan.
  • In India, prices are in rupees and include GST. Elsewhere, prices are in US dollars and don’t include sales tax, VAT or similar taxes; where we have to charge such a tax, we add it to your invoice. You’re responsible for your own business’s taxes.
  • You can move from monthly to yearly at any time, or back to monthly when your year ends.
  • If we change our prices, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal, and the new price applies from that renewal.
  • If a payment fails or is overdue, we’ll let you know. If it isn’t sorted out within 14 days, we may make your account read-only until it’s paid. If it’s still unpaid 30 days after that, we may close the account, and its data is then deleted as described in section 9.

06Cancellation and refunds

  • You can cancel at any time by emailing info@clickbook.si from the account owner’s email address, or in your account settings where available.
  • Monthly plans end at the end of the month you’ve paid for. Yearly plans run to the end of the year you’ve paid for and then don’t renew.
  • Payments are non-refundable. We don’t give refunds or credits for part of a month or year, unused seats or storage, or a guided setup that has been delivered, unless the law requires it.
  • If we close your account for a reason that isn’t your fault, we’ll refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
  • After your plan ends, your account stays read-only for 30 days so you can export your data, and is then deleted.

Nothing in this section takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be excluded by contract.

07Payments from your clients

  • To let your clients pay by card, you connect your own Stripe, Razorpay or PayPal account. Payments go from your client to your provider account: ClickBook never holds your money, takes no cut and charges no transaction fees.
  • Your provider’s own fees and terms apply, and your agreement with it is between you and the provider.
  • Payments by bank transfer, cash or UPI can be recorded in ClickBook by hand.
  • You’re responsible for your prices, invoices, taxes, refunds and contracts with your clients. Templates in ClickBook, such as contracts, are a starting point, not legal or tax advice, so review them for your business.

08Acceptable use

Don’t use ClickBook to:

  • break any law, or infringe anyone’s rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
  • send spam or messages people haven’t agreed to receive;
  • upload anything illegal, harmful or malicious, or content you don’t have the right to use;
  • access other accounts or our systems without permission, or test, scan or probe them for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
  • overload, disrupt or scrape the service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows;
  • resell ClickBook or share an account outside your studio.

When you put your clients’ personal data into ClickBook, you’re responsible for having the right to do so, for example by telling them how you use it and getting their consent where the law requires it.

If you photograph children, for example at newborn and family sessions, and store their details or photos in ClickBook, you’re responsible for having a parent’s or guardian’s consent where the law requires it, including verifiable consent under India’s DPDP Act.

09Your data

  • You own the data and content you and your team put into ClickBook, including your clients’ details, documents and images (“your data”).
  • You give us permission to host, copy, process and display your data only as needed to provide ClickBook to you, support you and keep it secure. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.
  • For personal data in your studio’s content, such as your clients’ and crew’s details, you’re the controller (Data Fiduciary), and we process it on your behalf and only on your instructions, as our Privacy Policy explains.
  • You can export your data at any time while your account is active or read-only. If you need help with an export, email us.
  • After the 30-day read-only period, your data is deleted and can’t be recovered, except billing records we must keep by law, so export anything you want to keep. Copies in our backups are deleted as the backups roll over.
  • If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

10Our software and brand

ClickBook, its software, design and brand belong to us. While your trial or plan is active, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use ClickBook for your business under these terms. Nothing else is transferred to you.

11Availability and support

We work hard to keep ClickBook available and to fix problems quickly, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may pause it for maintenance, where we can with notice and outside busy hours, and things outside our control, such as internet or provider outages, can affect it. Keep your own copies of anything critical.

Support is by email at info@clickbook.si, and Pro includes priority email and chat support. A Custom plan may include a service level agreement in its own agreement.

12Services you connect

ClickBook works with services such as Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, Google Ads, Meta and the gallery and storage tools you already use. When you connect them, their own terms and privacy policies apply. We’re not responsible for them, and they may change or stop working with ClickBook.

13Liability

  • ClickBook is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those in these terms, for example that it will meet every need you have.
  • To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, bookings, data or goodwill.
  • Our total liability for all claims relating to ClickBook is limited to the amount you paid us for ClickBook in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim.
  • You agree to cover our reasonable losses from claims made against us that arise from your data, your dealings with your clients, or your breach of these terms.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.

14Suspending and closing accounts

You can stop using ClickBook at any time (see section 6). We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, doesn’t pay, or puts ClickBook or other people at risk. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll warn you first and give you time to export your data.

15Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, email us first and we’ll try to sort it out. If we can’t, disputes will be decided by the courts of India. This doesn’t take away any protection you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

16Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as ClickBook changes, and we’ll post the new version here with a new date. If a change materially affects paying customers, we’ll email the account owner at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless it’s needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you don’t agree with a change, you can cancel before it takes effect.

17General

  • These terms, our Privacy Policy and any Custom plan agreement are the whole agreement between us about ClickBook.
  • If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we haven’t given it up.
  • You can’t transfer this agreement without our written consent. We may transfer it as part of a reorganisation or sale of ClickBook, and we’ll tell you if we do.
  • We send notices to the account owner’s email address. You can send notices to info@clickbook.si.
